Hinds Hospice is looking for a Full Time Director of Pediatric Hospice/Concurrent Homecare Operations
Reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), the Director of Pediatric Hospice/Concurrent Homecare Operations, provides oversight of many clinical operational functions (primarily RNs, LVNs and Hospice Aides).
- Responsible for the management and oversight of the Pediatric departments.
- Provides effective and inspiring leadership as well as stewardship by being actively involved in all programs and services.
- Implements and leads a continuous quality improvement process throughout the areas supervised, focusing on systems/process improvement. Promotes regular and ongoing opportunities for all staff to give feedback on program operations.
- Provides day-to-day oversight of the Pediatric department that mirrors the mission and core values of the organization.
- Provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the organization has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization to ensure operating efficiency.
- Demonstrates integrity, strives for excellence in his/her work and has experience leading others to new levels of effectiveness and programmatic impact.
- Responsible for the coordination and delivery of high quality, efficient care for patients and families. Promotes and fosters an interdisciplinary approach to family-focused patient care and strong relationships with community providers.
- Provides integrated team process leadership for leadership of team members in representing areas of responsibility.
- Competitive compensation $130 - $135K annually

YOU HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required. Master’s degree in Health Care Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
- Three to five years of nursing experience in a community health service setting in the past six years with progressively responsible experience in supervisory or administrative duties.
- Proven record of accomplishment of successful clinical and business management of health service organizations required.
- Substantive knowledge of current trends in Hospice or Home Health Care, federal and state regulations, state licensing requirements, and other standards related to Hospice or Home Health Care.
- Demonstrated ability to apply organizational/management concepts effectively and to establish reasonable goals and objectives.
