  • Responsibilities

    Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Forklift Parts to lead our parts division at HANGCHA Forklift America Corporation. As the Director of Forklift Parts, you will be responsible for overseeing the parts department's operations, growing the parts revenue, managing inventory, optimizing supply chains, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Your expertise in parts management, leadership, and strategic planning will play a pivotal role in contributing to the success and growth of our parts division.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Leadership and Team Management:

    Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the parts team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.

    Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure the team's professional development.

    Grow the Parts Revenue:

    Find the path to grow the parts revenue

    Build incentive program to grow the parts revenue

    Spare Parts Management:

    Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the parts division in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

    Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive factors to drive continuous improvement and innovation in parts offerings.

    Inventory Management:

    Develop inventory strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and ensure timely availability of Parts to meet customer demands.

    Monitor inventory turnover ratios, analyze slow-moving and obsolete inventory, and implement corrective actions.

    Supplier Relationships and Supply Chain Optimization:

    Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms, pricing, and agreements to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize disruptions.

    Customer Satisfaction and Support:

    Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate parts information, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.

    Collaborate with customer support teams to enhance the overall customer experience.

    Financial Management:

    Develop and manage the parts department budget, tracking expenses, revenue, and profitability.

    Implement cost-saving measures and revenue-generating initiatives to achieve financial targets.

    Reporting and Analysis:

    Generate regular reports on parts sales, inventory levels, and key performance metrics, presenting findings to senior management.

    Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

    Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in OEM parts management, or related roles within the forklift or industrial equipment industry.

    Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully managing and developing teams.

    Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities, with a deep understanding of Parts operations and supply chain dynamics.

    Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

    Proficiency in using inventory management systems and software.

    Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.

    A results-oriented approach with a focus on achieving targets and enhancing customer satisfaction.
