Description

Director of Opioid Treatment Programs

Essential Duties

  • Supervises program leadership to ensure integrity and safety of daily operations
  • Actively promotes and ensures program and employee alignment with agency values and strategic priorities.
  • Leads initiatives focused on rapid access and integration of care across programs and settings
  • Promotes and educates the use of medications for opioid use disorders
  • Assures compliance with regulatory expectations from multiple external bodies, including DEA and Joint Commission
  • Informs annual program budget development, tracking and responding to performance throughout the year
  • Partners with executive leadership to inform, plan, and implement program expansion
  • Promotes interdisciplinary collaboration within teams

  • Provides and receive feedback in a continuous, collaborative, and approachable manner
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and/or improvement initiatives including clarity in goal setting, generating buy-in, tracking progress and reporting outcomes
  • Effective facilitation of team and project meetings, including advance planning and agenda setting,  equitable and productive participation of members

Qualifications

Competencies

Preferred Degrees/Certifications:

(a) Five years of paid full-time experience in the field of substance use treatment, with at least one year in a paid administrative capacity; or

(b) A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and four years of paid full-time experience in the field of alcohol and drug treatment, including experience in an OTP with at least one year in a paid administrative capacity; or

(c) A Master's degree in a relevant field and three years of paid full-time experience in the field of alcohol and drug treatment, including experience in an OTP with at least one year in a paid administrative capacity.
