Job Description Summary
MUSC Health is seeking a Director of Operations for the Hollings Cancer Network, reporting to the Oncology Network Administrative Officer. The Director supports the execution of activities with non-MUSC hospitals within the Hollings Cancer Network as well as initiatives across the Regional Health Network (RHN). This position utilizes a collaborative approach to build relationships with health system divisional leaders and affiliate leaders to meet the needs of the cancer programs. In particular, this position will work with the affiliates, joint venture, and RHN divisional partners to ensure strategic, operational, service, quality and financial goals are met.This individual will be responsible for maintaining/exceeding all pertaining KPIs, developing positive and influential relationships with leadership and physicians at each care site, and partnering with physician and administrative leaders to drive successful change that supports the strategy and goals of the health system.

Job Description
Project Management
▪ In collaboration with Oncology Network Administrator and senior leaders assist with projects and initiatives to further the strategic mission and goals of MUSC Health
▪ Initiate and manage projects which aid in coordination and development of operational efficiencies
▪ Demonstrate facilitative leadership skills in managing projects across multiple entities, including non-MUSC care team members
▪ Facilitate preparations for the annual Oncology Network Affiliate retreat
Financial & Performance Management
▪ Prepare and monitor budget for the affiliate programs, and ensure invoices are submitted in a timely manner
▪ Assist in the development of business plans and proformas for projects
▪ Participate in development of financial/operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), regularly monitor scorecards, and identify opportunities for improvement
System & Operational Planning
▪ Collaborate with local, divisional, and system resources to help achieve health system and affiliate business goals.
▪ Identify and implement best practices and processes to improve efficiencies and standardization across all Oncology sites to include financial performance, patient experience, quality, and employee engagement
▪ Participate in the development of plans to support growth of revenue and referrals
▪ Collaborate with Oncology System Director of Quality & Safety to support affiliate accreditation needs and RHN progress towards obtaining accreditation
▪ Collaborate to ensure highest level of quality, safety, and regulatory requirements are met.
Additional Job Description
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 8 years progressive work experience and 3 years management experience
