Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Director of Occupational Sales Marketing to direct the efforts of the department to facilitate the maintenance, growth and expansion of Occupational medicine interests in the clinics.

In this role you will:

• Manage and direct the efforts of Occupational Sales staff to increase occupational visits to the clinics.
• Develop goals, volume targets, and incentive programs for Occupational Sales staff.
• Initiate and manage programs designed to increase occupational injury and pre-employment volume into the medical centers. Design and manage programs to provide regular maintenance to existing accounts.
• Monitor opportunities for the expansion of services as the market demands.
• Develop systems to get sales staff in front of potential clients via phone calling, appointment setting, cold calling, mailers, etc. Create systems to monitor sales activity, call counts, and appointment tracking reports.
• Train new marketing staff on occupational industry concepts. Provide opportunities for ongoing sales training programs such as seminars and workshops on sales.
• Provide sales reports and other occupational reports as needed by management as to the state of the department and maintain reporting for sales team metrics, volume and revenue tracking, department budget, commissions tracking and other pertinent departmental reporting.
• Complete and submit bids, proposals and pricing agreements as required for obtaining and retaining existing governmental and corporate accounts.

You Will Need:

• Bachelor Degree preferred
• Medical experience preferred
• Management skills, sales skills, and leadership skills are all required.
• Extensive occupational medicine industry knowledge or experience is necessary.
• Extensive sales management background is needed.
• Appointment setting and closing skills are necessary.
• Must possess excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and comply with all motor vehicle laws and regulations of the State. Dependable vehicle will be required for extensive driving.
