Job Description
```Duties```
- Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training and development
- Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical technology, treatments, and best practices
Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
- Valid nursing license in the state of employment
- Proven experience in nursing administration or a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Familiarity with home care, nursing home, or home health settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficient in documentation review and quality improvement processes
- Understanding of shift management and ability to handle staffing challenges
