Director of New Gym Openings
Position Summary:
As the Director of New Gym Openings, you will be responsible for facilitating, instructing, and providing guidance to franchisees throughout every stage of New Gym Openings. Your primary goal will be to achieve profitable outcomes before and within the initial six months of gym operation. You will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Pre-Sales and ramping gyms.
Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the development and execution of strategic plans for successful New Gym Openings, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate resources, logistics, and timelines, optimizing efficiency in the execution of New Gym launch plans.
  • Direct and lead the hiring, training, and management of a high-performing team within the New Gym Openings Department, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Implement and refine standardized processes and protocols for New Gym launches, aiming for consistent and seamless experiences across all locations.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to New Gym Openings, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, reduce costs, and increase overall efficiency.
  • Foster strong relationships with franchisees, vendors, and internal stakeholders, serving as a key point of contact and maintaining open lines of communication throughout the New Gym opening process.
  • Conduct comprehensive on-site sales and operations training sessions for franchisees and entire gym staff in anticipation of facility openings.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of sales and marketing experience
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the fitness industry
  • Willingness to travel 60-70% to new locations and corporate offices
  • Availability on Saturdays for special events
  • Proven experience in managing a team in a fitness-related role
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
  • Experience in managing and executing events and promotions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • High energy and enthusiasm with a passion for fitness and New Gym Openings
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
