Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our marketing initiatives in the fields of brand and product marketing, demand/lead generation, and communications. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing marketing strategies to promote our products and services, establish our brand presence, and drive growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the aquaculture genetics and genomics sector, aligning with the company's objectives.
- Product Promotion: Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote our genetic and genomic solutions, including genotyping services, breeding programs, and DNA analysis tools, to aquaculture professionals and researchers.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning in aquaculture genetics, genomics, and genotyping, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
- Content Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and informative content, such as technical articles, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and videos, to educate and engage target audiences.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media campaigns, to effectively reach and engage with key stakeholders in the aquaculture sector.
- Event Management: Plan and coordinate industry-related events, conferences, and webinars to showcase our products and establish strong relationships with key players in the aquaculture genetics and genomics field.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget efficiently, track ROI, and optimize spending for maximum impact on the target market.
- Personal and Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of Marketing and business development professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, provide regular reports, and leverage data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, aquaculture, genetics, genomics, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in marketing roles within the aquaculture, agriculture, genetics, genomics, or biotechnology industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of aquaculture genetics and genomics technologies, trends, and applications.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics, and marketing automation platforms.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative work environment.
