Under the supervision of the Chief Operations Officer the Director of Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Maintenance Division of the Operations Department. This role is accountable for ensuring the effective and efficient management of school facilities, equipment, and systems to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment for students, staff, and community members.
The Director of Maintenance works closely with stakeholders, school leaders and various departments including but not limited to Food Service, Pupil Transportation, School Safety, Plant Operations, and Facilities Design & Construction. This position is responsible for ensuring a seamless collaboration to achieve District and departmental goals.
The Director of Maintenance directly supervises the General Foreman while providing managerial leadership for trades foreman, tradesmen, and support staff.
