Director ofLeisure and Business Travel Sales Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of Leisure and travel hotel sales experience is mandatory
- Knowledge of San Francisco Leisure and Business Travel markets
- Knowledge of local market trends and local competition
- Excellent communication skills to train and motivate others, communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced sales skills,
- Documented history of achieving revenue goals
Director ofLeisure and Business Travel Sales Responsibilities
- Solicit new and existing luxury leisure accounts to meet/exceed leisure travel revenue goals
- Telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections, attending trade shows community events, and industry meetings.
- Achieve Leisure and Business transient revenue through aggressive prospecting, convincing presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing luxury leisure travel program sales
- Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel and coordinate various departments’ participation in servicing accounts.
- Meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account
- Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to all departments in the hotel to ensure high quality of service to customers.
- Participate in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, training, and other sales-related meetings
- Develop monthly and quarterly promotions and coordinate the communication of these programs to the client, guest, and internal departments.
