Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Vice President and Chief Clinical/Administration Officer, the Director of Residential Treatment Services is responsible for the overall financial, operational and clinical management of the Residential Treatment Services Program (North and South). She/he assures that all aspects of patient care are performed in accordance with Council policies and procedures and established licensure and certification standards. Coordinates all aspects of designated program functioning with other Council programs and assists in program development, implementation and evaluation as well as marketing and fundraising and other duties assigned.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in behavioral health, business, healthcare administration or related area.* Five years or more of experience in the field of behavioral health with a minimum of one year of behavioral health supervisory/management experience. IAODAPCA Certified or Licensed Social Worker, Psychologist or Professional Counselor. Demonstrated experience related to compliance with a variety of regulatory/licensure agencies. Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong organizational and motivational skills. In-depth knowledge of the dynamics of the disease of alcoholism and substance abuse, co-occurring disorders and evidenced based treatment. Ability to effectively communicate with referral agencies, community organizations, educational institutions and other professionals in the human service area. Experience with Electronic Health Records a plus. Must have valid driver's license and minimal auto insurance.
