Director, HR Operations

Our owner operated model is aimed at expanding the ability for older adults to live happily and healthfully in their own homes for as long as possible.

The Director of HR Operations directs and oversees HR systems, HR compliance, employee pre-hire onboarding/offboarding, total rewards, payroll administration, performance management, and internal processes. This role plays a pivotal part in creating and implementing various HR process and policy initiatives to standardize the employee experience throughout the organization.

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities over the Payroll department and serves as a coach and mentor to other positions in the department.

Travel: As needed, up to 10%.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum five (5) years Human Resources experience, including compensation, payroll, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, employee benefits and compliance related responsibilities.
  • Minimum of three (3) years HCM hands-on configuration with business process with any HCM platform; ADP experience preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP/SP-HR certification highly desirable.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment-related laws and statutes governing hiring, compensation and benefits, and general employment in a multistate company.


Key Responsibilities:


HR Systems & Data Analytics

  • Develop and maintain HR Systems Roadmap, overseeing implementation, upgrades and data integrity.

Total Rewards

  • Lead compensation and benefits strategy design and application.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll administration.

HR Compliance

  • Develop comprehensive onboarding/offboarding processes to streamline operations.
  • Implement auditing standards for employee files and regulatory compliance.
  • Administer Workers Compensation and Leave programs.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners for compliance and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Legal Counsel to maintain adherence to employment laws and regulations.

HR Process

  • Support annual HR projects and performance management processes.
  • Champion performance management tools and processes aligned with organizational values.
  • Maintain and enforce Employee Handbook and policies consistently.
  • Align HR functions with organizational goals.


Skills

  • Strong analytical skills to develop HR initiatives based on data.
  • Excellent relationship building, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in project management and multitasking.
  • Ability to make strategic HR decisions and engage with high-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Trustworthy with confidential information.
