Our client, a leading manufacturer in the fresh food marketing display game, is looking to hire a new Director of Engineering to lead a team of 4 direct reports for the Belleville, WI plant.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Engineering leadership roles. A background in food manufacturing and/or refrigeration is preferred. Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate all engineering-related activities by performing the duties below individually or working through team members or supervisors
- Provide leadership in the design and sustaining environment by developing and implementing short-range plans and identifying goals and objectives to meet the company’s vision, mission, and long-range strategic plans
- Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing and other senior leadership to understand and properly address customer requirements
- Drive quality improvements to reduce warranty costs

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering preferred
- 10 years of experience minimum in a manufacturing product development environment
- The natural ability to mentor and coach others
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills
