Director Of Engineering - Springfield Remanufacturing Corp.

The Director of Engineering will oversee product engineering operations, serves on the Senior Leadership Team, and ensures proper engineering procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and recruits engineering staff, ensuring personal and departmental goals and objectives are met
• Manages progress and timeliness of projects
• Reviews and develops reports to ensure projects are on schedule and within departmental budget while meeting customer requirements
• Provides mentoring and training for departmental associates
• Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations to ensure well-qualified and motivated associates
• Consult and collaborate with Director of Operations and Director of Sales to create long-range operating goals specific to the needs of Springfield ReManufacturing Corp. and it's customers
• Meet and build relationships with associates, customers, suppliers, and other guest of the Company.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field required.
• At least ten years of related experience required.
• Extensive technical knowledge of Engineering and product development.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to develop and implement solutions
• Excellent financial skills and ability to analyze financial data in an open book environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
• Preferred APQP or AIAG experience
• Preferred diesel engine, OE engine manufacturing, or remanufacturing experience
