JOB SUMMARY:
Supervises, the total functionality of the dining room and provides a positive, up-scale first impression and ensures Resident and Guests receive prompt, courteous and efficient service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Hires, trains, counsels, disciplines and terminates dining room personnel.
2. Prepares schedules for Dining Room personnel.
3. Assigns wait staff and bus staff to their stations on each shift.
4. Assigns side duties to staff.
5. Assures that all dining room systems are functional before, during and after meals.
6. Constantly observes food delivery, table satisfaction and bussing procedures.
7. Maintains safety standards at all times.
8. Addresses complaints from Residents and Guests.
9. Greet residents.
10. Informs Director of FS of any complaints or problems.
11. Inspects all dining room personnel for proper uniforms, nametags and hairstyle.
12. Prepare and gives monthly in-service to Dining Room personnel.
13. Maintains records of Guest checks.
14. Supervises cleanliness of Dining room.
15. Supervises cleanliness of kitchen areas assigned to wait staff.
16. Acts as Host/Hostess when they are off duty.
17. Support food service operations in Reflections and Recreation; conduct training, QA audits, ensure proper practice for handling and storing food is maintained.
18. Responsible for setup and breakdown of special events, action stations, theme buffets, including cleanliness and storage of equipment.
19. Take inventory, generate orders and maintain par levels for dining linens, china, glass and silver.
20. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Food Service, Assistant Director of Food Service and the Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School graduate.
· Ability to read and write English, follow written and oral instructions.
· Must have previous experience in Dining Room management.
· Must be able to instantly handle problems and situations in a dining room.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
