Job Summary

As The Director, you will serve as the key resource for the school in providing analytical support for decision-making to the School's Dean, School leadership, and senior staff. This includes providing resource modeling needs, as well as using analysis to drive strategy for the school's administrative units and improve operational efficiency. The Director will also have responsibility for managing the administrative processes surrounding accreditation and Assurance of Learning. This includes staying current on the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs(AACSB) accreditation standards and best practices, as well as developing assessment plans for all accredited programs. 

 

Hybrid work will be considered for this position based on the candidate's location and interest

This position could be filled at multiple levels (P4 or P5). The hiring manager will determine the job level based on the skills, experience, and qualifications of the selected candidate.

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, analytics, or similar field 
  • Six years experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related field
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to think analytically and understand the impact of a business question
  • Ability to lead simultaneous large projects with deadlines 
  • Ability to foster positive interactions with faculty and gain participation from all levels of an organization
  • Maintain confidentiality with data
  • Project management skills

 

Preferred:

  • Graduate degree
  • 8 years' experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related field
  • Experience in higher education
  • Expert knowledge in Tableau or Power BI, IBM Cognos, and Excel
  • Working knowledge of R or Python and SQL
