Summary (on-site, Dallas, TX)

Ziosk is seeking an experienced Director of Cyber Security to lead, develop, and oversee our Cyber Security strategy, ensuring that our products, infrastructure, and customer data remain secure. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in navigating the unique challenges of Cyber Security within the restaurant technology space.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Cyber Security strategy in alignment with Ziosk's business objectives.
• Monitor the digital landscape for emerging threats, ensuring Ziosk's technology and infrastructure remain resilient against potential attacks.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations, best practices, and maintain certifications that reinforce Ziosk's commitment to Cyber Security.
• Develop and oversee an incident response plan, ensuring timely mitigation of threats and minimizing any potential damage.
• Work closely with IT, engineering, product teams, and external partners to integrate Cyber Security best practices across all initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and expand the Cyber Security team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Implement company-wide training programs on security best practices to enhance the security culture.
• Evaluate and manage security-related vendors, ensuring they meet Ziosk's security standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Cyber Security and technology.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant industry specific challenges and PCI-DSS and PCI-SSS compliance.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective Cyber Security strategies.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate complex security concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or other relevant credentials are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Ziosk's product line is a plus.
