Director Of Custodial Services - Large School District

The Budd Group is seeking a Director of Custodial Services, spearheading the efficient management of housekeeping personnel across a prominent School District in Hall County Georgia! You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining high-quality standards, managing personnel, and ensuring client satisfaction across 34 school buildings and a team of 240+ employees. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with a proven record of managing large accounts, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to navigate challenges with a positive mindset.
Responsibilities:

• Promote corporate objectives and manage janitorial projects for the School District.
• Oversee janitorial staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards and scope of work.
• Manage contracts, vendors, and suppliers for housekeeping equipment and services.
• Supervise hourly general cleaners and carry out responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies.
• Manage budgets, including P&L for a $6M+ account, overseeing multiple managers and ensuring payroll hours align with budget projections.
• Maintain housekeeping and appearance standards, addressing quality concerns promptly.
• Order and manage supplies, demonstrating a proven track record in inventory control management.
• Proactively identify and implement solutions to the unique needs of a School District.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in the janitorial industry
• Proven record of managing operations in large, geographically dispersed teams and buildings.
• Experience managing other managers and large teams.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a commitment to transparency and overcommunication with employees and the customer.
• Strong planner and team builder, capable of maintaining positivity in all circumstances
• Demonstrated ability to manage $6M+ P&L
• Willingness to be hands-on, and adaptable to weekend work based on cleaning quality.
