We are a group of fun, fast-paced, and team-oriented techies, and we are looking to expand our team with a passionate Director of CTE for our customers worldwide.

Our Director of CTE connects with our customers and learns their context and goals. Then, they plan, help design, and deliver engaging tailored solutions to the customer’s needs. They train educators on zSpace systems, curriculum planning, and implementing the technology in the K12 and CTE setting. They often troubleshoot technology and sometimes install equipment as well. After a PD session, they follow up remotely for any additional needs to support their success. They communicate and collaborate with our Services, Sales, Support, and Product teams to share customer feedback and to help drive customer success.

Ideal Candidate:

• Current or Previous Experience as CTE Director or Coordinator.
• Previous zSpace Customer
• You enjoy leading professional development and facilitating technology training workshops for educators
• You understand what it means to be an educator in today’s world and can articulate your personal philosophy on teaching and learning
• You are an intuitive and self-driven learner when it comes to technology, often exploring an app’s unique features and intricacies
• You voluntarily engage in professional learning communities, eager to collaborate with other educators and to prepare them to overcome challenges they face with technology successfully
• You enjoy the challenge of connecting with your adult audience (even the reluctant ones), and your instruction and guidance is well-received by educators of all age ranges and comfort levels with technology

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver best-in-class professional development to educators that leverage zSpace technology for teaching and learning
• Communicate with customers and adapt and implement a CTE PD plan aligned to their goals and needs
• Install hardware and software and trouble-shoot as necessary
• Gather customer feedback on CTE PD content and curriculum and apply feedback to the zSpace Professional Development Program
• Collaborate with zSpace’s Services, Sales, Support, and Product Teams to drive customer success
• Support the development of collateral related to zSpace Professional Development Program (i.e. write, edit, and review activity plans, worksheets and answer keys as needed)
• Maintain accurate and professional records, book travel, and follow through on administrative tasks
• Participate in self-directed remote and on-site training on our and throughout the year (zSpace continuously adds new content and features to products, and it is the responsibility of the PD Facilitator to learn these new updates and to train our customers on them)
• Travel to customers to deliver in-person Professional services & Conferences (~80% on-site at customer’s location, ~20% remote planning and follow-up work)

Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills that effectively convey information in presentation, documentation, and conversational forms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and other collaboration and project management tools
• Ability to manage multiple competing demands to reach project deliverables and timeline
• Ability to quickly transition thinking about one career and technical pathway to another or from one course sequence to another
• Ability to stay positive and calm under pressure when problem-solving a customer’s issue
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage a diverse workload
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience teaching in the CTE classroom environment and successfully integrating technology in the classroom
• Experience creating external-facing documentation and collateral
• A highly professional digital footprint
• Located near a major airport
• Ability to personally handle travel logistics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Google Apps for Education Certification(s)
• Strong working knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
• Prior work experience in an educational technology organization or role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
