POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a collaborative, enterprising and copy-obsessed storyteller to lead our Content Marketing initiatives. In this role, the Director of Content Marketing will craft and implement a comprehensive, multi-channel brand narrative and content strategy that amplifies our team's visions and goals. The ideal candidate will uniquely blend creative and analytical thinking to tell an SEO-optimized story that attracts, engages and inspires our audience.
Within the team, you'll:
- Guide our Marketing Content Producer on the assets needed to boost awareness and demand for our products and services, including blogs, social media posts, videos and more.
- Work alongside our Director of Product Marketing to develop and distribute concise, effective product materials.
- Join forces with our Director of Solutions Marketing to devise and launch efficient onboarding and adoption plans, helping our customers quickly achieve expertise.
- Partner with our Marketing Art Director to maintain the creative consistency and quality of our branded campaigns and materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and oversee a robust Content Marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement and conversion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, third-party agencies and vendors to ensure a cohesive brand message across all platforms.
- Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to optimize strategy and content.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate best practices into the content strategy.
- Manage an editorial content calendar and ensure timely publication of Content across various channels.
- Own the development and editorial calendar of our interactive prospect hub, including client webinars, blogs, white papers, short form video and more.
- Oversee budgeting for content creation and distribution.
- Oversee copy development for all marketing assets, which can include writing and/or editing responsibilities depending on the project.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in Content Marketing and at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record if developing and executing successful content strategies.
- At least 1-2 years in a copywriting-focused role.
- Proficient in developing SEO-driven content strategies
- Proficient in developing social media copy and video scripts
- Competency in HubSpot and Asana a plus
- Background in Tech/SaaS, music and/or live entertainment
- A pulse on the latest trends in content creation and strategy
- Experience in partnering with third-party agencies and vendors
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables across a distributed team
- Paid media and social media skills are a plus
