Job description

SpringVale Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Director of Compliance and Quality. This position supports and promotes successful achievement of organizational goals by working closely with the Executive and Clinical Teams. Organizes programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of SpringVale Health Centers and in accordance with accrediting, licensing, and certifying bodies. Monitors and reports on activities related to Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), grants management and reporting , site readiness and deeming process for Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) certification and recertification process, and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

The Director of Compliance and Quality serves as the Chair of the Performance Improvement Committee and leads activities related to quality assurance and performance improvement, and risk management. Facilitates the gathering and reporting of information and data, assists in developing project plans, designs, schedules and leads meetings related to specific program projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organizational and Program Compliance:

  • Ensures compliance with accrediting, certifying, and licensing entity program requirements.
  • Ensures SpringVale Health Centers' protocols, policies and procedure are meet or exceed standards established by accrediting, certifying, or licensing entities,
  • Work with Administrative Team to ensure a continuous state of survey readiness.
  • Leads or assists in the submission of any necessary reports to external agencies.
  • Develops and implements a programmatic evaluation system to assess and measure program strengths and identify areas of improvement.
  • Develops and presents regular reporting of performance.
  • Plan and lead all compliance/accreditation site reviews.
  • Ensure HIPAA Compliance throughout the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor performance improvement plans.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, healthcare administration, or another related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare program management, project management, grant management, quality improvement, or risk management preferred.
  • Prior experience working in public health, community behavioral health settings, or Federally Qualified Health Centers is also preferred.
  • Experience working with electronic health record systems is necessary. Experience using ECW highly preferred.
