Job Description
The Director of Maintenance is responsible for Aircraft Maintenance, including supervising technicians and working directly on Company owned and operated G650/G550 aircraft to achieve the highest level of safety and dispatch.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that all Las Vegas Jet planes are safe, maintained, and operational.
- Supervises, leads, and manages maintenance technicians and hangar superintendent.
- Works within Wynn Aviation to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer services.
- Supervises and performs Aircraft Maintenance on Company owned aircraft.
- Plans, schedules, and assigns maintenance tasks requested through work orders.
- Directs the work of outside maintenance contractors.
- Develops, tracks, and meets the capital and expense budget for a project, service, and/or flight operations.
- Supervises maintenance planning and the obtaining of quotes from outside vendors for upcoming maintenance events.
- Orders operating supplies and required/directed.
- Performs duties as Aircraft Mechanic.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Formal maintenance training on Wynn Aviation specific aircraft preferred.
Licenses:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
- Inspection Authorization (preferred)
- Valid automobile driver’s license
- Valid passport
- Must be willing to obtain and keep any licenses required to meet the minimum functions of your position.
Experience:
- A minimum of (5) five years of experience with high performance turbine aircraft. Experience with aircraft currently owned by Wynn is preferred.
Skills:
- Knowledge of the FOM, Training Manuals, and the provisions of the CFRs and standards necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Director of Maintenance position.
Age:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
