Job Title:         Director of Account Training

Department:    Account Management and Training

Reports to:      SVP of Account Management and Training

Location:         New York

Status:             Full-Time

Salary:             $90,000 - $100,000 per year

 

Note that the salary range is representative of total earning potential and actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and geographic location.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the SVP of Account Management and Training, the Sr. Director of Account Training is responsible for leading, developing, and managing the Account Training Team. The Director will collaborate cross-functionally with the Account Management, Field Operations and IM teams to ensure 100% execution of all client projects. The Sr. Director will also create and drive the development of new training methodologies and partner with IT to ensure field technology supports training and the completion of all reporting related to visits.   


Responsibilities
Job Duties

Lead and direct the Account Training team to ensure the field team is equipped with detailed, accurate training to carry out client objectives.

  • Partner with the Account Managers when new projects are developing to ensure that adequate training materials and time for training and reviewing reports are appropriate for the project.
  • Collaborate with the Field Operations and Recruiting teams to ensure that all client projects are completed to the brand’s standards.
  • Leveraging the brand tools and training, oversee the development of the full training suite including visit expectations, execution of tasks, and reporting requirements.
  • Strategically work with the IT team to look at enhancements to improve brand training, store visit report development, and report completion.
  • Collect feedback from Account Managers and Clients to gain insights relative to training effectiveness.
  • Support the SVP of Account Management and Training with key cross-functional meetings and account-specific meetings.
  • Lead team meetings focused on evaluating past performance to deliver on future goals in new and improved ways.

Build an Account Training team that represents the Winston brand and that is capable of delivering at the highest level to our clients while continually striving to innovate our training techniques and processes.

  • Staff the Account Training team with individuals who serve as ambassadors to the brand. Ensure that they are trained to identify training solutions that will meet or exceed brand expectations.
  • Provide timely feedback to the Account Management team focusing on improving execution, building cross- functional collaboration, and identifying and engaging top talent.
  • Create a “Field First” mentality by engaging teams, celebrating success, and coaching opportunities leading to minimizing field turnover.
  • Ensure that all materials that are shared with the field are branded, engaging, and support a “field first” approach.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
  • 4-year or advanced degree in retail merchandising, training and education, or a related
  • 5-7 years of leadership experience managing a team of 5 or more within a wholesale, retail, or store organization
  • Demonstrated experience in
    • Managing and leading teams
    • Creating and implementing successful training platforms and programs
    • Working in a cross-functional environment
    • Influencing and negotiating to complete projects

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be nimble and agile with an ability to multi-task and problem-
  • Ability to work independently and be self-
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including presenting new ideas in an organized and detailed
  • Strong interpersonal skills across a wide range of
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and
  • Technologically strong with experience working in proprietary
