ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the overall performance and availability of the network. Analyzes network and recommends upgrades/changes; assesses organization's current and future network needs

- Responsible for overseeing the growing developments in targeted market areas
- Assist in the development, negotiation, and execution of contracts with service providers within state and federal legal and regulatory requirements
- Develop operational processes for managing distributed infrastructure
- Develop and implement support plan and escalation strategy for troubleshooting live on-air network and connectivity-related issues
- Maintain and track network-related performance data
- Engage and lead on internal projects to develop methodology and systems for granular resource scheduling
- Work closely with development teams to ensure internally created tools align with the long-term strategy for the Operations Center
- Track and report on risks, contingency plans, and roadblocks to stakeholders and leadership
- Provide vision and strategy for service and/or solution enhancement, network augments, and strategic customer initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field strongly preferred
- Eight (8) years of working experience in an operations environment
- Familiarity with key tools including ticketing, fault monitoring, dashboard, and reporting tools
- Experience working in Microsoft Project, Jira, and/or other project management tools
- At least 5 years of managerial experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25 pounds occasionally
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
- Visual perception in order to perform activities at distances close to the eyes.
- Hearing enough to understand and communicate by telephone and in person.
- Arm-hand dexterity enough to demonstrate and operate keyboards and small office equipment.
- Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
