YPrime's Operations teamissearching for a Director, Localization Services. You'll be basedin one of our Malvern, PA; Raleigh, NC; or Sandwich, Kent offices.

- Experience managing and working on large translation projects
- Proven experience in Translation Project Management
- Prior experience in the pharma/biotech or CRO industry
- Prior experience in translations/localizations in the eCOA space
Here are some more details about the job:
- You'll lead a team of Localization Managers, Coordinators and Assistants and ensure they possess the knowledge and skills to perform their roles
- You'll develop translations metrics and provide ongoing measurement and updates to Operations Leadership and the Executive team
- You'll serve as a subject matter expert and partner in developing comprehensive training on translations best practices and processes
- You'll develop and continuously improve corporate translations and localization processes
- You'll develop and implement a comprehensive scientific strategy for eCOA solutions, aligning with the company's overall goals and market trends
- You'll stay informed of advancements in clinical research methodologies, digital health, and patient-reported outcomes to inform eCOA scientific strategies
- You'll work closely with product development, data science, and technology teams to integrate scientific advancements seamlessly into eCOA product offerings
- You'll partner with Quality and Compliance to define quality standards that enable the effective functioning of the translations service and to develop and implement an audit strategy for translation vendors
- You'll provide industry best practices to clients, project managers, and the translations team
- You'll drive innovation in eCOA methodologies, leveraging the latest technologies and scientific approaches to enhance the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of clinical data collection
- You'll set departmental strategy and growth plan, conducting labor analyses and forecast hiring needs, as needed
- You'll work with finance and business development to define a competitive pricing strategy and to negotiate translation vendor rates
- You'll transform the Translations team into a revenue-generating group
- You'll work closely with product development team to ensure localization needs are met with new product features, including but not limited to the questionnaire library, snapshot tool, patient engagement and eConsent
- You'll establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract translators/vendors and internal stakeholders (Operations leads, PMs, etc.)
- You'll provide Translations subject matter expertise and support to business development in terms of responding to RFPs, RFIs, and bid defenses
- You'll review proposals, statements of work, and other documentation to ensure translations work is appropriately scoped and priced
- You'll advise clients on translation best practices, risks, and mitigation strategies
- You'll provide estimations of effort and timelines for translations-related work
- You'll ensure projects are properly scoped and manage allocation of translations resources to project work
- You'll proactively work with the Operations department to optimize processes for requesting translations, to advise end clients on any translation needs, and to provide upcoming translations and timelines
- You'll ensure team's assignments are produced and returned according to the agreed upon specification and timelines
- You'll act as primary instrument librarian, ensuring instruments checked in and out of the library meet quality standards

- Advanced degree (PH.D. or equivalent) in a relevant scientific field
- Proven experience in leading scientific initiatives related to clinical research and patient-reported outcomes, with a focus on eCOA methodologies
- In-depth knowledge of clinical trial methodologies, regulatory requirements, and eCOA best practices
- Foundational knowledge of the principles of a software development life cycle
- A passion for customer service and prior experience working in a customer-facing role
- Multi-lingual preferred but not required
