Job Summary
The Director of Information Security is responsible for leading teams in the delivery of enterprise security services to be consumed by both Technology Solutions and other Sanford users in collaboration with the Information Security Officer (CISO) and the managers within Information Security. The Director of Information Security works closely with Sanford Privacy, Compliance, and Technology Solutions leaders along with their teams to ensure the services delivered meet the business needs of the organization and are compliant with federal guidelines. Works with the CISO, Information Security teams, and Technology Solutions leaders to execute a comprehensive security program that identifies risk and prioritizes risk reduction efforts. As part of this responsibility, the Director will actively engage in the development and execution of the long term IS strategic plan. In addition, the Director is responsible for providing operational oversight to ensure all security services meet Sanford operational standards, are compliant with industry standards, and are managed and measured for optimal performance and value.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in computer science, management information systems, business or a related field.
Minimum of ten years' relevant work experience required. Must have extensive knowledge of information security principles and techniques. Strong working knowledge of information security standards including but not limited to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Payment Card Industry (PCI) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA).
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification preferred.
