Job Description

Be a part of our leading and growing Immunology business driving science and conversations for patients with these serious, and often chronic conditions. Step into a role where you'll spearhead strategic and multistakeholder Public Affairs initiatives for our growing Immunology portfolio. You'll be entrusted with the strategic oversight of numerous disease areas, from international launch and advocacy strategy development to milestone communications around regulatory approvals and international medical meetings. This role also includes international patient advocacy engagement, issues management, and the leadership of a dedicated team of at least two direct reports.

Responsibilities:

• As the navigator of our industry-leading Immunology portfolio (includes RINVOQ, SKYRIZI and HUMIRA), you'll be instrumental in creating integrated multistakeholder communication strategies that align to the strategic imperatives of our brands and overall objectives. Your strategic counsel will inform decision-making processes and guide the courses of action to address proactive opportunities and manage potential challenges.
• You'll ensure the creation and implementation of enduring, measurable and strategic Public Affairs strategies that align with our business needs.
• Working in close collaboration with our European and Intercontinental Public/External Affairs leadership you will ensure international strategic alignment with local market realities.
• In this role, you will develop patient engagement strategies in alignment with brand's strategic imperatives to support broad patient access. You'll analyze the communications landscape and stakeholder insights to guide strategic planning and business decisions.
• You will be responsible for building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, leading international media relations for our Immunology portfolio and collaborating with partner companies on joint communications.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures and serve as a member of the International Public Affairs leadership team.

Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years public relations experience.
• Proven track record in developing and executing strategic and measurable external Public Affairs programs, as well as experience in leading high-performing teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, creativity, analytical and leadership capabilities, and a strong understanding of the value of public relations within the integrated marketing mix.
• The ability to provide strategic counsel for a variety of communication scenarios to senior internal and external stakeholders will be vital.
• A team player who can work effectively in a cross-functional team, with strong negotiation skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Direct experience in issues management is preferred.
