Director- Income Tax Compliance And Provision (Remote)

**THIS ROLE IS REMOTE**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Direct and manage all federal and multi-state income, franchise, and related Tax Compliance activities for all 
company and family entities as well as all direct family members, ensuring compliance with federal 
and multi-state regulatory reporting requirements. 
• Communicate with company foreign offices and external tax providers on the coordination of 
international Tax Compliance within each local jurisdiction and the combination and consolidation of 
the information for global tax financial reporting purposes.
• Managing external tax advisors and consultants regarding relevant tax types
• Coordinate preparation and filing of federal information returns such as 5471s, Country by Country 
Reporting, K1s, FBARs, 5500, 8858, IC-DISC, and others that may be required from time to time.
• Review intercompany 1099 tax filings for completeness and accuracy
• Preparation and review of tax provisions and financial statement tax footnotes 
• Management of Tax audits for relevant tax types
• Develop partnership with senior management in order to drive global tax initiatives. 

• Manage work with fixed asset group as it relates to tax analysis of significant projects

Education and Experience:
• A Bachelor’s of science in Accounting or Finance required.
• An advanced Degree and CPA Certification are required.
• 10 years of related tax planning and compliance experiences with a public accounting firm required.
• A broad knowledge of US tax laws and regulations is required.
• 10 years of people management experience is required

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
• Must be analytical by nature with drive to pinpoint, communicate and solve critical business issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to message effectively to senior 
management and non-tax professionals
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate, develop relationships and partner effectively 
across the organization and with external auditors
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and maintain high 
level of attention to detail

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PCs, database, and general office equipment

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an 
extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and 
concrete variables.
