Job Description Responsible for providing and maintaining organized and effective Food Service and Retail at all Children's hospital and Support Center locations while supporting the goals, mission, vision, and values of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Responsible for ensuring that all Food and Retail Service operations are effective, efficient, and in compliance with all regulatory agencies. To proactively support the efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and to promote a safe environment at Children's.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-department management.
7 years of experience in a service management and operations leadership capacity.
5 years of experience in service-related areas focusing on quality improvement and customer service excellence.
Must have expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Multi-Site food operations, Retail Services, Hospitality, Customer Service.
Preferred Qualifications
Hospital or health care facility experience.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business management, retail or other related field.
Certification Summary

Job Responsibilities
Coordinates and manages the day-to-day operations of the Food Service group at all Hospital locations, including Arthur M. Blank.
Coordinates and manages the day-to-day operations of the Food Service group at the Children's Support Center head office.
Assists in development of and executes within the parameters set forth in the annual Facilities Services group.
Leads the Managers and Supervisors across multiple shifts to ensure smooth 24/7/365 Food Service operations for all Hospitals.
Ensures that department operations are effective, efficient, and delivered at the highest standard for quality.
Manages the hospital food service environment to ensure appropriate regulatory compliance with all authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ), including but not limited to DOT, OSHA, CMMS, and TJC.
Maintains a safe, enjoyable, and high-quality food service program for patients, visitors, and staff at all hospital locations, as well as the Support Center.
Partners with Quality, Strong4Life, and Clinical Nutrition to ensure the highest levels of safety.
Coordinates with the North Druid Hills Master Plan Team, Brasfield & Gorrie and J.E. Dunn for building readiness and turnover at Arthur M. Blank Hospital.
Maintains third-party food service contracts at all hospitals, including Arthur M. Blank Hospital, and the Support Center.
Focuses on patient satisfaction scores and patient satisfaction initiatives.
