The Director Field Marketing/Consumer Engagement Operations (Director FM/CE Operations) at Monster Energy Company oversees all levels of the operations teams that support both Field Marketing & Consumer Engagement functions. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all operational functions that help leverage our National/Regional Assets and Sponsorships regardless of the “contract” stakeholder.
The Director FM/CE Operations will take a leadership role in the direction and prioritization of marketing execution activities that take place within the US. This role will be a key stakeholder in enhancing the integration of the Field Marketing & Consumer Teams under one entity. (FM/CE) and the development of “one” local marketing plan.In addition, this role will be a conduit between Brand & FM/CE, helping align objectives and build national execution strategies. The Director FM/CE Ops will play a key role in facilitating the collaboration between Commercial Teams (VP GM’s & Commercialization Teams) and FM/CE. The goal is to get both groups aligned under one execution plan and strategy.
Lastly, the Director FM/CE Operations will own the “operational” side of Field Marketing & Consumer Engagement.
This includes supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of both groups on a local level, developing tools and strategies
that helps MEC & FM/CE win. Management maintains the right to add or change the duties of this position at any time.
Essential Job Functions:
• Works closely with the VP of Field Marketing & Consumer Engagement or SVP Marketing Operations to help set local marketing priorities for the 7 marketing units with a focus on enhancing brand awareness and product image.
• The Director FM/CE Ops helps develop and support the necessary marketing strategies utilized to execute on a local level. The role works in conjunction with the Sr. Directors FM/CE and must stay current with local market developments and national strategies.
• Leads an Operations Team that helps facilitate relationships with vendors that advances sampling and overall Monster brand marketing objectives, presence, and brand goals.
• Helps facilitate collaboration between the Field Marketing & Consumer Engagement group and Commercial teams, in conjunction with the FM/CE Sr. Directors, to align on local Marketing objectives and overall execution strategy.
• Leads Teams that develop and implement methods and procedures for activating specific sampling directives within the market, including supporting logistics.
• Directs teams that support the FM/CE Sr. Directors to ensure the timely completion and maintenance of records for timesheets, inventories, and other related necessary reporting data. (Goal is for the Ops Team to train local teams to handle on their own).
• The Director FM/CE Ops and Teams own the recruiting, retention, hiring, and training process. The FM/CE Sr. Directors also have an ownership stake in process with the goal of executing those strategies.
• Leads the development of National/ Regional mobile interactive campaigns for Brand on a larger scale.
• Works with FM/CE Sr. Directors to ensure we have the systems in place to maximize performance when out in the field engaging with consumers. Also, regularly meets with the Sr. Director’s of Field Marketing & Consumer Engagement to share and facilitate best practices.
• The Director will also own the management of the Collegiate Ambassador Teams (CAT program). They will manage the CAT agreements along with recruitment efforts. They will also support the integration of those CAT plans into the local marketing plan.
• The FM/CE Sr. Director & Teams will also own the back-end support of the day-to-day capturing of Marketing activities and recaps needed to ensure proper execution. (Managing of Main Event, Assembly & other IT related programs that support these activities).
• Their teams will ensure that all local marketing teams have the proper POS & Event equipment to support all activities. This includes POS tracking and creative requests.
• Provide strategy and support to evolve the Sr. Ambassador program.
• The FM/CE’s teams will also help spearhead incentive plans for the entire team.
• The FM/CE Sr. Director will also help support the management of warehouse facilities along with product ordering and inventory for warehouses.
• The Operations team will also manage the reconciliation of both the Field Marketing & Consumer Engagement department cards as well as help manage department budgets. People & processes are currently in place to manage both.
• They will also help support managing vehicle ordering, wrapping, and maintenance.
• The role and its’ Teams will also support logistical manpower needs and planning for all larger scale Marketing activities including CEM mass samplings. Consistent with current processes.
Position Requirements:
• 10+ years of Event Marketing/Grassroots/Special Event/Promotions and Team Management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business or Marketing, or in other applicable fields.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record. At times will drive company provided vehicle.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range USD 112,700.00 to USD 132,600.00
