Must-Haves:
Current or eligible New Mexico RN license required.
Seven years of experience in the healthcare sector, with at least three years in a leadership role.
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Advanced degree (MSN, Healthcare Administration, and MBA) strongly preferred.
Experience working in a for-profit healthcare facility strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in assembling a team focused on quality initiatives.
Nice-To-Haves:
Proven experience in fostering relationships with pre-hospital providers.
Job Responsibilities:
The Emergency Room Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of ER operations. This includes providing guidance and mentorship to staff, formulating and enforcing policies and procedures, ensuring and maintaining accreditation standards, and managing the ER's budget and productivity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is a prerequisite; MSN, Healthcare Administration, and MBA are highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum seven years in healthcare, with at least three years in a leadership role. Previous experience in a for-profit healthcare setting is strongly preferred. Leadership, program development, budget and productivity, and clinical experience are prerequisites. Strong human relations and interpersonal skills are vital.
- Licensure: Current NM RN license.
- Certification: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. TNCC must be obtained within six months.
This is a full-time exempt position.
