Job description

We Are Hiring:
  • Department: Service Excellence
  • Schedule: Full Time days, Monday - Friday
  • Location: Remote, 20% Travel
What You Will Do:
The Director, Consumer Experience (CX) Arrival Experience will lead the transformation of Ascension’s Arrival Experience and processes to help shape the first impressions of our consumers across the ministry.

  • Lead the strategic vision for reimagining and optimizing cross ministry Arrival Experiences, aligning with organizational goals and consumer expectations
  • Direct initiatives aimed at cultivating an environment that ignite service excellence. Take ownership and influence actions that streamline our associates' daily routines by eliminating friction points. Identify barriers that can be effectively communicated to our associates.
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining and enhancing the experience through continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Define the base standard, identifying and bridging the gap between current practices and a service delivery that is ‘best in class.’
  • Conceptualize, design, and lead the implementation of innovative Arrival Experiences
  • Utilize data driven insights to assess current arrival processes, measure performance, and identify areas for enhancement. Implement key metrics to track the success of the reimagined experiences.
  • Equip the team with essential tools, resources, methodologies, and technology to facilitate outstanding interactions.
  • Develop a strategy for our existing platform rooted in transparency, trust-building, and vulnerability demonstration. Seek innovative methods to better understand perspectives for process improvement and leverage the feedback to collaborate on new concepts.
  • Collaborate in cultivating a culture of service that uniquely characterizes the organization across the entire ministry.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and ensure a coordinated approach
  • Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.
What You Will Need:
Education:
  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences:
  • Master’s Degree
  • 5+ years of job specific experience in operations, experience development, and customer service leadership roles, highly preferred.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and colleagues to further service-focused experiences.
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing complex processes, implementing efficiency measures, and achieving tangible results.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of effectively engaging and aligning stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing user centric design principles. Ability to leverage analytics tools and the ability to derive actionable insights to drive decision-making.
  • Previous experience utilizing Six Sigma, Lean methodologies preferred.
