Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental, health, safety, Risk Management, and business continuity programs, policies, and procedures for a global organization.
- Provide leadership and guidance to management and employees on EHS, and business continuity matters, including training, awareness campaigns, and emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS, Risk Management, and business continuity considerations into manufacturing processes, and facility operations.
- Manage and analyze data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards, protocols, and business continuity plans.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for EHS regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with permits, reporting requirements, and inspections.
- Stay informed about emerging regulations, trends, and best practices, recommending proactive measures to maintain compliance and enhance performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management or operational leadership, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings, with a focus on Risk Management and business continuity.
- 5+ years leading global EHS, Risk Management, or business continuity teams.
- Expertise in administering and auditing core safety programs, with hands-on experience managing industrial environments.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA), industrial hygiene principles, and best practices in safety management systems, Risk Management, or business continuity planning.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS, Risk Management, or business continuity programs, driving continuous improvement and achieving measurable results.
- Experience managing regulatory compliance, conducting audits and inspections, and interfacing with regulatory agencies across EHS and business continuity domains.
