Job description

The Director – Contracts Operations and Program Management will oversee and lead the implementation of key initiatives for the Contracts Center of Excellence (COE). This role will sit at the heart of business transformation within the Contracts COE. The evolving position will enable Contracts to optimize its Operations and advance its digitalization strategies. This role will report to the Vice President, Global Contracts and will be based in Phoenix, AZ or Charlotte, NC. We are looking for a candidate who will excel in our fast paced, dynamic, performance driven environment. Key Responsibilities

Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan process and discipline. This role will be the process owner of the development and management of our annual AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and STRAP (Strategic Plan), working closely with the key leadership on the team in both the development and ongoing management. This includes the ongoing management of our Annual Operating Plan deliverables and financials, including headcount and overall resource management

  • Functional transformation Program Management. Develop and manage a rigorous functional project plan with emphasis on efficiency and transformation across the Contracts function. This ongoing program plan will align directly into the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan processes and will be a wholistic plan encompassing all of the transformation projects for the function. In addition to oversight and coordinating the related elements of key projects for the function, the successful candidate will think broadly about internal and external communications and drive all aspects of internal change management associated with the transformation projects. Ensuring alignment with the SBGs (lines of business) as well as other corporate functions is a critical and central measure of success in all projects and initiatives.
  • VOE/VOC. Lead function through annual and ad hoc Voice of the Employee and Voice of the Customer processes. Lead action planning and change management strategies. Ensure the Contracts COE metrics are aligned to the core priorities for the function.
  • Optimize and lead day to day operations of COE, including but not limited to managing COE calendar, staff actions, Townhall content development, Executive scorecard management and regular executive level presentations, to audiences including our CFO and CEO .
  • Accelerator GDM-own the development of Contracts Accelerator GDM. Lead organization through development and maturity and ultimately develop MOS for ongoing management of Contracts GDM

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.


Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of global multi-functional experience in various areas of Operations (Contracts experience desired)
  • MBA (or equivalent) desired
  • Must have substantial formal training and practical experience in Program Management and managing complex projects across various functional areas and geographies
  • Demonstrated experience in managing global and virtual teams and successfully leading teams without a direct reporting relationship
  • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets
  • Extensive experience with all MS applications
