Founded by Blue Origin, Club for the Future is a nonprofit 501c3 private foundation. The Club embodies our vision to have millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We are seeking a proactive, action-oriented individual with excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills who will be dedicated to the success of Club for the Future (Club) and who will thrive in a dynamic environment. - Standards-aligned hands-on lessons
- Partnerships with other STEM and space-based education agencies, organizations, and institutions
- Strategic events and outreach utilizing Club Ambassadors
This position plays an active role in a fast-paced environment contributing to the overall success of Club in each of the 4 Priority areas.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of Club for continued growth in all focus areas:
- Provide support and ongoing counsel to staff for maximum efficiency and effectiveness
- Oversee integration of Club Operating System (AirTable/Salesforce, Sharepoint) by Club staff and necessary support teams
- Manage human resources requirements of Club staff and consultants
- Ensure timely support for Club needs with Enterprise Technology, Information Technology, Human Resources, Communications, Astronaut Experience
- Serve as Director of the annual O'Neill Symposium to oversee:
- Planning Committee meetings - agendas, documents, meeting minutes/ actions, workback schedule updates, budgeting, next steps, etc.
- Implementation - roles, responsibilities, legal/insurance, run-of-show, etc.
- Along with other Club staff, build and manage partnerships with entities with expertise in education, space science, and student/educator engagement that can help Club achieve its goals
- Continually elevate collaboration with DEI, Talent Development/University Relations, and other teams at Blue Origin to benefit the good work of Club
- Serve as a spokesperson on behalf of Club and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness
- Ensure weekly, monthly, and quarterly deliverables such as the Week Ahead, Monthly Metrics and Quarterly Activity reports are on-time and error-free
- Participate in annual strategic planning, budgeting, and ongoing data analysis to ensure goals are met
- Keep abreast of relevant trends and best practices in education and student engagement and make strategic recommendations accordingly
- Work with the Executive Director and Accounting to manage Club finances (monthly AP, AR, reforecasting)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or additional years of relevant experience
- 8+ years of professional experience to include non-profit, community engagement and/or student engagement.
- Familiarity with running a nonprofit organization and cultivating partnerships
- Experience engaging students (K-12) via formal and/or informal education activities and events
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

- Passion for space and environmental issues (climate change, sustainability, eco-friendly solutions, etc.) a plus
