This role is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops strategy and programming to advance priorities in cancer care delivery and innovation.
- Leads ACS’s Cancer Innovation programmatic efforts, working closely with teams across and beyond the Patient Support Pillar.
- Provides subject matter expertise internally and externally to inform improvements in cancer care delivery.
- Monitors science and trends, emerging issues, and best practices for improving cancer care delivery.
- Monitors the external landscape in Cancer Innovation to inform strategy development and new opportunities.
- Liaises with ACS CANS and ACS Discovery team members to align on policy and cancer care delivery research
- Develops scientific publications, position papers, policy documents. Develops and delivers professional presentations.
- Works closely with Patient Support Business Operations team to manage and oversee the Cancer Innovation budget.
- Conducts special projects and initiatives as needed.
FORMAL KNOWLEDGE
- MPH or equivalent experience in cancer care delivery, quality, implementation, value-based care, health care innovation.
- Minimum 5 years experience in planning/implementing cancer care delivery initiatives; health care operations, payment, and policy.
- Knowledge of current and emerging scientific evidence in Cancer Innovation.
- Established network within cancer care delivery community.

The starting rate is $127,000 to $145,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
