Job Title:  Director, Campaign Analytics & Attribution

Job Description

Lead efforts to build analytical capabilities around media mix to help understand the Return of Investment from our mass media marketing efforts, Lead generation and optimize future efforts. Develop a hypothesis driven approach and use data in generating business insights to improve the efficiency of the organization’s brand building efforts and consult with the Integrated Marketing Team to strategize the in-market campaigns. Work  with complex marketing, competitive and econometrics data to establish cause and effect relationships and develop comprehensive Campaign Analytics, test measurement and campaign performance. Develop complex mathematical models and work with data science teams to help translate mathematical findings into business insights. Develop lead attribution and modeling capabilities in a multi-channel acquisitions engine that will inform future strategies. Design/strategize Omni-Channel marketing campaigns across a wide array of marketing channels (online, offline), products to build media mix models that can help understand the impacts of marketing activity. Develop and deploy enterprise wide attribution models (Marketing Mix, Multi-Touch Attribution) to drive more accurate understanding of ROI. Optimize budget allocation utilizing the insights from propensity models and Marketing mix models based on channel interactions. Partner with the Data/Tech and the value chain across the marketing efforts to help operationalize new tools and techniques like segmentation, targeting in support of our customer focused strategy. Collaborate with the Data Office, Predictive Modeling, Business Intelligence, Reporting teams and external stakeholders/vendors to ensure data required for marketing analysis is accurate, timely, and complete. Develop and deploy digital and Campaign Analytics to optimize Topline revenue and bottom line ROAS.  Position is based out of and reports to Thrivent’s HQ in Minneapolis, MN, but allows for the option to telecommute from a home office anywhere in the United States.

Job Requirements

Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in data science, technology related field, or related STEM field plus at least 7 years of progressively responsible post baccalaureate experience as an analytics manager, business/marketing analyst, or related occupation.

Must have at least 7 years of experience with each of the following:

 

  • Applying data-science/research techniques and tools;
  • PNL for media allocation;
  • Building predictive models using SAS tools;
  • Translating complex data tasks into business solutions;
  • Creating risk forecast and response models;
  • Campaign management, data extraction and media optimization;
  • Experience with Data bricks or tableau, Oracle and SAS; and
  • Creation of mathematical or simulation models.

Position is based out of and reports to Thrivent’s US headquarters in Minneapolis, MN, but allows for the option to telecommute from a home office anywhere in the United States.
