Director, Business Unit Controller

Job Summary:

onsemi is currently seeking a Business Unit Controller to join our organization. The position will be located at our Corporate Headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona and will report directly to the Vice President of Corporate Finance. In this role, the Controller will oversee all accounting and finance functions for the Advanced Solutions Group (ASG), a multi-billion-dollar Business Unit.  The Controller will be responsible for coordinating, analyzing, and executing on the Business Unit's financial strategy.  

Responsibility and Scope: 

• Manage and supervise a team of four financial professionals within the Business Unit.  Drive, influence, measure, and report stakeholder value while reinforcing the vision, mission, and strategy of the organization.
• Support company-wide P&L forecasting, actual to forecast variance analytics, annual operating planning, long range planning, and quarterly business reviews. 
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to senior management and make recommendations for business improvements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the financial support and operational expectations for the organization.
• Active collaboration with all departments in the organization, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other Support Organizations to ensure financial goals are aligned with the organization's strategy.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

• BS in Accounting / Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred. 
• 10  years of Accounting/Finance experience required 
• 8 years in Accounting/Finance leadership position in a high-tech factory related environment. Semiconductor industry strongly preferred. 
• Extensive experience with SAP and Oracle ERP preferred 
• Strong communication skills, articulate, and able to explain complex issues clearly 
• Advanced experience in Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
