The AMER Platform Organization is looking for a driven and detail oriented Director of Business Consultant - Platform & Security Leader. You will have responsibility for managing a team of Business Consultants. This team covers specific segments while maintaining a single-minded focus to ensure clients and Core teams are extracting the most value out of their Salesforce investment relating to Platform & Security products. The Business Consultant team has a track record of translating complex technical issues into tangible solutions. Collaboration with our most strategic customers and aligning with Core Leadership teams is a primary responsibility of this leadership role, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of products associated with Salesforce Platform & Security.
You will forge relationships with your customers, developing a deep understanding of their Salesforce implementation and share best practices
The ideal candidate is a leader who enjoys working hard, exhibits professionalism, is dedicated to meeting and exceeding expectations, building relationships, has excellent collaboration skills, is able to learn new technologies quickly and uses their time efficiently.

    • Develop relationships with key business, finance, and IT stakeholders and become an expert on the customer’s solution/implementation and understanding their top business goals and priorities.
    • Help customers achieve their business goals and outcomes by providing timely, proactive recommendations that will benefits customers’ ongoing usage of Salesforce relating to the Platform & Security product suite.
    • Attain Trusted Advisor status with both key business and technical decision makers
    • Work seamlessly with internal cross functional teams to drive solution success for customers, including sales, solutions, product, and technical enablement.
    • Identify key industry business process areas for opportunity to use Salesforce Platform & Security
    • Influence future product direction and roadmap, helping Platform & Security to scale beyond current industry and segment footprint

Experience/Skills Required
    • 8+ years relevant work experience in one or more of the following: Enterprise Architecture, Technology Consulting, Complex Technical Sales, Customer Success, Technology Solutions Development, Technical and/or Solutions Architecture.
    • Experience in dealing with large, complex, distributed systems scale business.
    • Comfortable in dealing with IT systems that support end to end business processes across the customers’ value chain.
    • Navigate, escalate and lead efforts on complex customer requests or projects involving multiple parties and enterprise systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
    • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure.
    • Aptitude for both analyzing technical concepts and translating them into business terms, and for mapping business requirements into technical features.
    • Strong knowledge of business processes (Sales, Service, Marketing, Support) business applications and automation.
    • Thorough familiarity with platform positioning and selling security products

Experience/Skills Desired
    • BA/BS Degree (or equivalent)
    • Salesforce product certifications are a plus
    • Deep technical/solution selling knowledge of Salesforce Platform & Security capabilities, best use and how to deploy successfully
    • Knowledge of Salesforce multi-org best practices and strategies as well as Salesforce Platform & Security products .
    • Experience defining and delivering Platform & Security applications in a technical and/or functional leadership role.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $169,680 to $227,010.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
