Griswold Home Care for North San Diego welcomes compassionate individuals to apply for the rewarding positions of part-time Home Care Aide (HCA) / Direct Support Professional (DSP), hereinafter referred to as Caregiver, for recurring shifts within North and Central San Diego.
Starting Compensation: $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities: As a valued Companion-Only Caregiver, you will provide companionship and support to seniors and adults with intellectual disabilities during flexible day and night shifts, ranging from 4 to 9 hours per day. You'll work with those at risk of social isolation or people who just need a little help. Providing support with fall risk prevention and engaging client in things like:
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Grocery, pharmacy, and local errands
- Medication reminders
- Friendly conversation
- Engagement in hobbies and social outings
Qualifications:
- Available for daytime shifts.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- TB clearance, background check clearance, and California Home Care Aide registration.
- Dependable and self-disciplined.
