Work Schedules
Full time, 40 hours workweek, either Tue-Sat (12P-8P) or Sun-Thu (12P-8P), and
Full time, 40 hours workweek, Mon-Fri 3P-11P
Hire requirements include five (5) day orientation workweek (Mon-Fri day shift).
Your role
At our Residential Service Group Home in Wilmington, DE as a Residential Associate Clinician some responsibilities would include the following:
- Provide coordination and guidance, counseling, and encouragement to participants as they transition from residential services to a more independent environment.
- Complete the initial and annual participant assessments and develop the participant’s recovery plan from a person centered perspective.
- Assist with the presentation in case conference for assigned participants.
- Responsible for the care and maintenance of case records for all assigned participants.
- Act as a liaison and consult with community agencies and families to maintain coordination in the recovery process.
- Provide ongoing assessment of participant’s mental illness symptoms and their responses to recovery to ensure that immediate and appropriate interventions are provided.
- Participate in staff planning, training and internal/external administrative meetings.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in: counseling, psychology, sociology, behavioral science, nursing, rehabilitation or human services related.
- Knowledge of mental health and substance abuse systems and supports.
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Direct experience in mental health services with emphasis on direct care in a community based setting.
Scope:
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, bend, kneel, stack, stoop, which includes direct intervention with participants.
- Frequent talking and listening.
- Ability to climb and descend stairs.
- Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Requires crisis intervention in emergency situations.
- May be required to report to work during emergencies including inclement weather.
