Direct Support Professional - 3/36 Overnight-Wed./Thurs./Friday - Webster City

One Vision is seeking to hire Full- Time, Direct Support Professional (DSP) for new 12-hour shift schedule model for Overnight staff members to work 3 days per week Wednesday-Friday. We are excited to bring a new work schedule which supports work life balance for our team members.

This schedule provides you with a 3-day work weeks and more scheduled days off, ability to plan for vacations because the schedule is consistent and working fewer days and still have full time benefits.

Typical schedule would be 3-day 12 hour shift work week, Wed/Thurs./Fri., with hours beginning between 5 pm -7 pm on Wednesday-Friday and ending 5 am - 7 am on Thursday-Saturday based on the needs of the home.

Average wage- $16.90-18.90* depending on prior relevant work experience

As a Direct Support Professional, you support individuals with daily living skills including housekeeping, laundry, cooking, hygiene, and self-administration of medications.

While supporting people with disabilities, you learn their individual differences in ability, personality, interests, learning, motivation, and likes and dislikes. You encourage community engagement by driving the individuals you support to appointments and leisure activities in addition to supporting them with finances and grocery shopping.

Requirements

• No experience necessary! We provide necessary on-the-job training to care for our individuals.
• Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills needed to complete documentation.
• Provide a current driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Requires some physical activity bending, kneeling, stooping. Lifting or use of lifts for some individuals.
• Offer of employment is contingent upon background check, drug screen, physical assessment to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
