Zurich Direct Markets is seeking an experienced insurance, professional for our F&I Reinsurance Administrator position in our Overland Park, KS office. While this position will be based out of Overland Park, you will have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis. This team works from the office Tuesday and Wednesday (more as needed) and works remotely the remainder of the week.

 

Zurich Direct Markets specializes in providing Finance & Insurance (F&I) products to the automotive industry. We have a dedicated sales force of F&I professionals who meet regularly and directly with our auto dealer customers.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of auto dealer profit participation programs. Programs include reinsurance, retros and dealer owned warranty companies. You will coordinate with our direct sales force, dealer customers and professional providers to setup, administer and maintain compliance for profit participation programs. You will work within a variety of applications and with business partners, in internal support units, to ensure the accuracy of established programs, fulfillment of reporting requirements, respond to customer inquiries and make distributions of profit back to our dealer customers.

 

This role is a combination of administrative work, business management processes and basic to complex financial literacy to serve our dealer customers and sales force.

Profit participation programs and our customer's needs for the same have become increasingly complex and finance and analytical skills are used to help our customers solution and setup the programs that best meets their needs. Direct Markets is a highly customer focused business unit and we tailor our service to meet our customer's business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to apply a structured approach in dealing with partial or incomplete information.

 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Project work and application testing
  • Support the development, measurement, communication and execution of key initiatives
  • Act as a point of contact for the business for all F&I reinsurance related matters
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the sales organization and customers, in support of business retention and acquisition
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, staying current with industry trends, establishing personal networks.
  • Support F&I Underwriting

 

Basic Qualifications

 

Bachelors Degree and No prior experience required in Reinsurance area

OR

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Reinsurance area

 

Preferred Qualifications

Insurance industry experience and knowledge of reinsurance contracts

Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills experience (specifically Excel and Word)

Intermediate technology experience (SAP, SalesForce, Business Objects)

Strong verbal and written communication skills
