THE POSITION: Direct Care Tech-Full Time- Night Shift

** NO VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS **

• Follows program operation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with AHCA, DCF, and CARF as well as Honey Lake Clinic standards and procedures
• Provides supervision and transportation as needed to patients in all program areas
• Provide consistent and excellent care for patients
• Contacts nursing or clinical staff as directed and notifies them of potential problems
• Obtains vitals per schedule or as needed
• Maintains Patient Safety “Q” checks
• Prevents and intervenes in potential incidents
• Actively participates in emergency drills
• Completes all training as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Teaches patients basic skills such as, but not limited to, washing clothes and cleaning their room
• Sanitize patient and employee areas
• Clean patients rooms when needed and requested
• Contribute to meal monitoring and serve meals to patients
• Other duties as assigned by the Lead Tech or Facility Admin Director

Work Hours: Night Shift (7pm-7am)

Position Type: Full Time

Pay: $13.00/hr-$15.00/hr, subject to experience/education

Pay: $16.00/hr-$18.00/hr, with experience/education of BA, BS or higher

Location: Greenville, FL (approximately 45- to 50-minute commute from Tallahassee, FL and Valdosta, GA)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• CNA, CMA, EMT, Paramedic, or Phlebotomist preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• 1 year experience working in medical, psychiatric, nursing, or adult care setting
• Meet criminal background check and drug screening per state requirements

Physical setting:

• JCAHO accredited facility

• Greenville, FL 32331: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
