General Position Description

Plans, develops, manages, and assesses the delivery of virtual and enrollment Student Services. Provides strategic leadership for the development of procedure specific to operating the virtual center(s), regional campus Answer Centers and Enrollment Services. Responsible for the collaborative design and implementation of a comprehensive onboarding experience for staff serving the College’s dynamic and diverse student body. Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance daily.

4. Hires, supports, supervises, and evaluates full-time, part-time, and temporary staff in Student Services; schedules both regular and back-up staff to ensure optimal staffing levels, particularly during peak enrollment periods.

5. Collaboratively facilitates synergistic communication and processes across all departments to create and ensure a seamless student experience and successful student outcomes.

6. Works collaboratively with students, faculty and staff to resolve student discipline, academic probation, fourth attempt issues, concerns, complaints and systemic service challenges.

General Working Conditions
This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. The employee will routinely operate standard office equipment including but not limited to computers, keyboards, mouse, phones, photocopiers, printers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Typical physical competencies include but are not limited to frequently remaining stationary, moving, reaching, positioning self and occasionally ascending/descending, lifting/moving objects weighing between 5-15 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; type/keyboard; and talk or hear. This job also entails frequently communicating, discerning, and exchanging information. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Cognitive abilities include but are not limited to frequently using discretion, judgment, reasoning, memory, learning, maintaining confidentiality, comprehension, problem-solving, and decision-making.
