Job Description: Dinning Room Server
The primary purpose of the Server is to serve food and drinks in a friendly, professional and efficient manner to residents and their guests. This position requires additional responsibilities including, but not limited to cleaning, side-work and working well in a team setting. Treats Residents with kindness, dignity and respect.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately completes ticket orders manually for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner.
- Busses the tables and setting them after the resident and their guest(s) leave.
- Ensures the tables tops and chairs are clean and set up properly.
- Maintains dining room organization and cleanliness.
- Completes own side-work and then assists other servers and kitchen staff with their duties when needed.
- Learns resident’s names and assists with resident’s dining charting.
- Assists with delivering apartment trays as needed and may be asked to use a two-way radio.
- Assists with removing walkers from dining area to an approved location. This meets safety requirements.

Must be able to meet physical demands of lifting and moving over 30 pounds, sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours. Moving at a high pace for long periods of time.
Hours and Dress Code
Non-exempt, hourly position. Must be available on weekends.
