Assist with kitchen upkeep, dish washing, and transporting food and supplies various hours between 12:00pm and 8:00pm several days per week.

ClarkLindsey, East Central Illinois’s award-winning retirement community, is looking to expand our outstanding dining service team.
The ideal candidate for Dining Services Aide is dependable, friendly, and adaptable when it comes to meeting the needs of the residents and the Dining Services team. Dining Services Aides will complete multiple assignments in the kitchen, as well as in the various dining rooms across ClarkLindsey's campus. Assisting with prep, desserts, beverages, and other items as needed. Additional responsibilities include set up and sanitization of designated working areas, and kitchen stocking and upkeep!

- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and the general public.
- Must practice proper hand hygiene, food handling procedures, and personal hygiene at all times.
- Must be willing to take the temperatures of hot and cold food prior to service to ensure temperatures are within standards.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and or carry such weight a minimum distance of 100 feet.
- Must be able to pull a loaded cart a minimum distance of 300 feet.
- Must possess sight/hearing so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.
- Must abide by ClarkLindsey’s HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the Employee handbook.
