Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Dining Room, ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Manage and lead a team of Dining Room staff, providing guidance and support
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Handle customer inquiries, comments, and concerns in a professional manner
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for Dining Room supplies as needed
- Train new employees on proper food handling and service procedures
Skills:
- Strong team management skills to effectively lead and motivate Dining Room staff
- Culinary knowledge to assist with menu planning and food quality control
- Leadership abilities to make decisions, resolve conflicts, and drive team performance
- Experience with Jonas POS system for processing orders
- Background in restaurant operations, including supervising staff and overseeing customer service
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles to create a welcoming environment for guests
- Familiarity with food service management practices to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
