Applicant must have understanding of the Build, Integrate and Dimensional Surveying. Applicant must have understanding of the IPDAR Database and Accuracy Control Work Packages. Experience of level surveying in production. Math skills a must (Algebra/Geometry). High School diploma or equivalent and 8 years additional education and/or related experience; Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree in relevant discipline and 5 years of related experience. May require certification.
Good communication skills; both oral and written. Good working knowledge and use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Access), Proficient on computers. Full understanding of construction processes, ship lines and terminology, various measurement units (English/Metric). Full understanding of layout and measure techniques and equipment. Utilizes metrology calibration systems and techniques based on principles of measurement science, technical analysis of measurement problems, and accuracy control requirements. Apprentice certification, Associate's degree or other 2 year technical degree in a relevant field.
