Job Summary/Description:
We are looking for a strong leader with a positive mindset who can help lead our DIGITAL SALES efforts. Gray offers extensive sales and marketing training for some of the best advertising products to sell in the market. The Digital Sales Manager will help lead the station's efforts in the development of new and incremental digital business; reduce digital churn; and work side by side with the station's sales management while coaching, training, mentoring and leading a top-notch group of local Account Executives. The manager will work in concert with Station Department Heads, GSM, LSM, & NSM to provide a unified approach to station/client partnerships. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a successful track record of leadership in developing sellers and delivering strong sales results.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Manage and lead team by participating in client meetings, building relationships with top clients, and actively developing new business
Responsible for achieving the station's digital revenue goals
Drive profitable growth through management & oversight of ad inventory across core site and audience extension networks
Ensure team understands and utilizes Digital & Broadcast tools & resources to ensure effective Marketing campaigns
Work alongside current leadership in cultivating & promoting a positive, successful culture
Ability to forecast revenue, develop and sustain a business plan to exceed sales revenue objectives
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have proven, successful sales experience with a minimum of 5 years; media advertising preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, yet committed to a positive team environment
Strong organizational, prioritizing & leadership skills within a fast-paced environment
Able to manage the decision-making process quickly, accurately, and calmly, adapting quickly to changing priorities
Oversee digital revenue forecasting and pricing models to drive growth
Promote a positive, result-oriented culture that is passionate for the business, career, and helping clients be successful
Highly organized with creative mindset
Ability to multi-task multiple projects
Ability to convert challenges into opportunities
Strong leadership skills that include the ability to train, coach, and motivate individuals and team
